Dr. Peter Fergin
Dermatologist
Dr Peter Fergin is a Dermatologist with over 37 years experience, admitted as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 1978. Dr Fergin is a founding member of the Skin Cancer Foundation of Victoria and is currently a consultant at Monash Medical Centre Dermatology outpatients and Head Consultant at the newly established Dermatology outpatients Clinic at Monash Dandenong Hospital.
Dr. Fergin’s research experience is extensive, involved in clinical trials and research for psoriasis and eczema. He was also involved in photodynamic therapy research in the U.S.A which has since become an accepted form of treatment for sun damage, acne and other skin conditions.
Professor Gilmore
Dermatologist
Associate Professor Gilmore is now consulting at our Dandenong clinic, joining us after returning to Victoria from Queensland.
Associate Professor Gilmore is a Dermatologist of many years experience and a researcher with an interest in statistics, bioinformatics and modelling skin disease.Assoc Prof Gilmore treats patients covering all dermatological conditions.
Dr Rebecca Nguyen
Dermatologist
Dr Rebecca Nguyen is a consultant dermatologist in private practice and holds appointments at Monash Health and the Skin and Cancer Foundation. Dr Nguyen graduated from Monash University in 2008 before undertaking her dermatology training in Melbourne and was awarded in 2013 the President’s Medal for Pharmacology, in 2014 the prestigious Australasian College of Dermatologists travelling scholarship to Oxford, United Kingdom and in 2016, the Founder’s Medal for Procedural Dermatology.Dr Nguyen has expertise in both adult and paediatric dermatology. Her areas of interest include eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, hyperhidrosis, skin cancer management and women’s dermatology.
Marie Lebrasse
Practice Nurse & Laser Practitioner
Marie has been a practice nurse with Dandenong Dermatology Centre for over 16 years. She has had general nursing experience since 1990, whilst also practicing part-time as a registered Health Counsellor. She has had extensive laser training and experience in Cosmetic Laser Therapy and has spent time with leading laser practitioners in Adelaide and training conferences in Hawaii, striving to consistently stay at the forefront of laser technology and treatment.Marie’s approach to her consultations is an honest and professional one, with a strong focus on pre and post treatment care.
